Forget what you think you know about fan conventions. If you were at Dream Con in Houston this year, you witnessed something special. Amidst the sea of incredible cosplay and the electric buzz of gaming tournaments, one star was shining exceptionally bright: Ameena Green. And let’s be clear, she wasn’t just there as a celebrity guest; she was there as one of the tribe.

Known for her dazzling work in the adult industry, Ameena spent the weekend of May 30th to June 1st reminding everyone that she’s a self-proclaimed nerd at heart. Her passion for anime, pop culture, and comics was infectious, and she connected with fans on a level that felt genuine and exciting. This wasn’t just another appearance; it was a homecoming.
“I’m extremely happy I attended Dream Con this year,” Ameena shared. “I met so many amazing people, hung out with my favorite peeps, and I’m thrilled to see I have such a huge fan base that’s just as nerdy as me!”
A Panel That Mattered
While the lines to meet her were, according to her rep, “some of the longest on the floor,” Ameena’s biggest impact might have been on a stage, not behind a table. She co-hosted a powerhouse panel on a topic she’s fiercely passionate about: diversity and representation in media.
And check out this lineup: she was joined by Hilton G. George, the founder of the iconic Blerdcon; TJ Sterling, CEO of the diversity-focused RAE Comics; and Kyle Dargan, an American University professor connected to Janelle Monáe’s Wondaland Arts Society. This wasn’t just a talk; it was a summit of creative minds dedicated to making geek culture more inclusive. As a proud “Blasian” woman, Ameena’s advocacy for seeing diverse faces and stories in the media we consume is a core part of her identity, and it resonated deeply in a space like Dream Con, which champions Black creators and fans.
Building Her Own Universe
Ameena’s drive doesn’t stop at conventions. She’s building an empire of her own. Having signed with the prestigious Spiegler Girls agency, she continues to be a sought-after talent in the adult world. But she’s also channeling that success into her own creative ventures.
Last December, she launched A3 Magajin, her very own publication aimed at spotlighting unique and inclusive voices within pop culture. This move puts her in a growing class of creators who are taking control of their own narratives and building platforms that reflect their values. On her social media, she constantly shouts out fan art and cosplay from marginalized communities, proving her commitment to lifting others up.
It’s this ability to bridge worlds—from top-shelf adult productions with studios like Brazzers and Digital Playground to grassroots fan communities—that makes her so unique. She’s proving that you don’t have to pick a lane. You can be a successful adult performer, a media entrepreneur, a cosplay enthusiast, and a powerful advocate all at once.

A Fan First
At the end of the day, what makes Ameena’s journey so compelling is her authenticity. She’s not just playing a part; she genuinely loves this stuff. Her representative noted that even though she “wasn’t even billed as a feature,” her presence was magnetic, and she “enjoyed every minute of the experience.”
From engaging in a Q&A to help aspiring creators build their brands to vlogging her experience with the help of photographer Malik Daniels, Ameena was all in. Her enthusiasm is a reminder that the best creators are often the biggest fans.
“Anime fans are some of the most open and creative people out there,” Ameena reflected. “This culture resonates with me in ways that are hard to explain—I just feel at home here.”
And as she continues to build her career, launch new projects, and champion inclusivity, it’s clear Ameena Green isn’t just visiting the world of pop culture—she’s helping to build it into a better, more vibrant place for everyone.
