Pineapple Support and Pornhub Launch Groundbreaking ‘Self Love’ Group for Performers

In a move that puts performer well-being front and center, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, Pineapple Support, is teaming up with Pornhub to offer a vital new resource: a free, six-week online support group focused on building self-love and compassion.

Building More Than Just a Scene

The “Self Love” group, which kicks off on Tuesday, July 1st, at 12 PM EST, aims to provide a safe space for performers to navigate the unique pressures of their profession. It’s about creating a foundation for mental and emotional strength that extends far beyond the camera.

The sessions will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Claire Fountain, a wellness advocate known for her work in fostering mental resilience. She emphasizes that the group is designed to be interactive and practical.

“This group will have discussions, exercises, and practical tools for understanding and increasing self-love and self compassion. Together we will build inner trust, connect with one another, and create the foundation for deeper relationships and joy in your life.”

This initiative couldn’t be more timely. As the creator economy booms, conversations around the mental toll of content creation—from online harassment to the pressure of maintaining a brand—have become more urgent. For adult performers, these challenges are often magnified by industry stigma, making dedicated resources like this essential.

A Lifeline Founded From Loss

Pineapple Support is no stranger to tackling the industry’s toughest challenges. The nonprofit was founded in 2018 by British performer Leya Tanit, who was moved to action after the community tragically lost several stars to depression and other mental health struggles. What started as a response to tragedy has grown into a formidable force for good.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Pineapple Support has already connected over 15,000 adult industry professionals with crucial mental health services, offering everything from free and low-cost therapy to specialized emotional support. Tanit sees this new group, sponsored by a major platform like Pornhub, as another powerful step forward.

“We’re grateful for the support of Pornhub for its support with this much-needed support group to help performers nurture their relationship with themselves.”

Platforms Stepping Up

Pornhub’s sponsorship highlights a growing trend of industry giants recognizing their responsibility for the well-being of the creators who populate their platforms. By investing in mental health resources, they acknowledge that a healthy, supported performer community is the backbone of a sustainable industry. This collaboration moves beyond simple content hosting and into genuine community care, a shift many creators and advocates have been calling for.

The “Self Love” group is an open invitation for performers to invest in themselves, offering a confidential and supportive environment to grow. As Tanit beautifully puts it, it’s a chance to focus on what truly matters.

“Join us for this weekly group for your journey of self love, where we’ll learn ways to explore, nurture and embrace the longest relationship you will ever have – the one with yourself.”

The six-week program will run for 60 minutes each Tuesday. Performers interested in joining can find more information and reserve their spot by visiting pineapplesupport.org or checking out their posts on social media like X (formerly Twitter) at @PineappleYS.
